My main specialization is the translation of :: Medicine / pharmacology texts: package leaflets, summaries of product characteristics, protocols; papers, in particular about metabolic diseases, autism*, cardiology, dentistry, orthopaedics, oncology, epidemiology, veterinary sciences; clinical records; work medicine; medical equipment, in particular arthroplasty, surgical instruments, implantodontics, laser, English>Italian; :: Moreover, thanks to my past in-house experience in a Quality Assurance department, I also translate Technical texts about Quality assurance documentation, SOPs, ISO 9000 regulations, work safety regulations, English>Italian; :: Other fields I like to cover are fashion (press packs for some important fashion designers), interior design, viticulture and wine-making (I assisted a client translating French documents into Italian from the vineyard implant to the presentation of their wines), tourism, sport (horse-riding and running), brochures, company literature, English/French/Spanish>Italian. I do not translate legal/financial texts, nor do software localization. I put an emphasis on quality, and deadlines are always met. The work is done with MS Word/SDL Trados, and delivered via e-mail.
